*SPOILERS!!!* This… This is the novel where Stephanie and Ranger finally hook up. So… why am I so dissatisfied? Well, think about it. We didn’t get any Joe/Stephanie action for four novels. Four novels, at 300 pages a piece, that’s 1200 pages. It was one of the greatest sex scenes of all time, so it was worth it!  Now tack on another four novels for us to get to Ranger/Stephanie. That’s 2400 pages. No Hobbit went further to throw an all powerful evil ring into an active volcano than we readers read to get to this. Ranger… tall, dark, mythically handsome, wicked, sometimes evil, dangerous… you get the picture—I’m seeing the Rock myself. Then read the two lines of text that constitute their sex scene. I’m paraphrasing: Ranger ruined me for all other men… in the morning he did it again. Huh? What? WHAT?????—Alice Bello is the author of Hate Him XOXO and Better off Dead.
